In the house, and on the street, how many, many feet you meet
My first moped topped off at 15mph; while having lunch on a photo shoot I had the pleasure of meeting Tony and he said his moped topped at 20 mph: full circle.
Roofers
While driving home the sight of so many roofers working on one house stopped me and I pulled over and began to attempt to capture this spectacle but all the views made it quite difficult and anyway something much better happened: I got to meet the roofers and spend some time talking: thanks to Steven, Lenny, Mendoza, Raymond, & Alex
Surfers of the North Shore
Today I was lucky enough to meet four surfers and get a start to a portrait series of surfers on the North Shore on what I consider to be the first real day of Spring in Massachusetts.

Jemaima & Raphaela
While vacationing in Aruba I met the incredible musicians Jemaima and Raphaela and we briefly took some portraits right off the beach. You can sample one of Jemaima's original songs here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lF0IvW2xLfg I look forward to spending more time with him and his full band some day.
Gary Haven Smith
I spent an incredible afternoon with this multi-talented artist up at his house and studios in New Hampshire while working on an article for Design New England. Here are some of my favorite out takes from the day.
Danny & Max
Today in between rain showers and after a commercial shoot in Brookline I was lucky enough to meet Danny & Max on Revere Beach
Fr. Spyridon Schneider, Orthodox Church of St. John the Russian
Today I visited with Father Spyridon at the Church of St John in Ipswich, MA. I had the pleasure of hearing his wonderful stories and how he started the church in the mid 1970's. It was also great to meet with Father Herman, take his portrait and learn a little about his life.
A friend, my godson, and a dog named Dexter
In all too brief visit with my friend Coke O'neal and my godson Mercury I started a series on the spaces that families live in and the area that surrounds them. I was also thrilled to meet Coke's neighbor Lynn and her dog Chappa. Lynn does amazing work rescuing and caring for bull dogs.
Gary Haven & Susan Pratt-Smith
Taking some time out to sit down for lunch and get to talk while up in New Hampshire on a magazine assignment with artists Gary Haven & Susan Pratt-Smith.
